16 year old Immy has danced since she was six. She did ballet until she was 12 and has done hip hop and jazz for the past 4 years. Immy currently dances with Marlborough Academy of Dance, (MAD) as part of a competitive troupe, and competes in two separate duos at competitions. Immy competes in Blenheim, Nelson, Christchurch, and Wellington each year.
She started teaching classes, (Hip hop and acro), at MAD last year. This year, she teaches 3 hip hop classes, 3 acro classes and choreographs and teaches competition dances to younger students. With her dance partner Sam, they competed their duo in a section of 25 duos at Hip Hop Unite and came 5th, qualifying for the Worlds in Obidos, Portugal.
