2022 was a big year for Isabella; she represented the South Island in the Smallbore Nationals, gained selection in the Marlborough Open Rep team (one of the youngest to do so) and won silver in the Women's Open and Junior Competitions at the National Air Rifle Championships. In 2023 Isabella would like to qualify for the NZ team for the Oceania Games. Her love and passion for the sport keeps her training hard and staying positive, even when things aren’t going right. Local shooting icon Val Wadsworth, says that “Isabella has all the attributes necessary to become a very good shooter; natural aptitude, quiet determination, good mental attitude, and a willingness to listen and learn”.
