Lauren is 15 years old and has been learning the violin since she was 7. She writes her own compositions on the violin, creates backing tracks, produces, and releases her own music on Soundcloud. She also has composed music for plays and has been asked to compose the soundtrack for the Havelock Theatre’s production this year. Lauren aims to pass her grade 7 violin exam next year and complete her grade 8 before she leaves school. She also aims to release an album of her original works, would like to be selected as part of the NZ Shakespeare Company and ultimately wants to make music her career by playing live shows and festivals around the world.
