Dylan started Martial Arts at 10, moving to Judo aged 11. Competing for years without significant results, Dylan stuck at it and hit his stride aged 18 when he began to medal at all levels in Australasia and Oceania and achieved a world ranking. Recently competing in Hong Kong and Macau enabled Dylan to qualify for the Jnr Worlds in Portugal which this Grant helped him get to. Now 19, Dylan says it’s all about extraordinary work ethic and passion as he determinedly works towards representing NZ at the 2028 Olympics.
