Now 20, Clara Dujakovic is an emerging orchestral trombonist studying Classical Music, already performing at a professional level across New Zealand. She has played with the New Zealand Symphony Orchestra as a casual musician, performs with the Royal New Zealand Air Force Band, and has twice won the National Brass Band Championships with Wellington Brass. Clara was Principal Trombone of the NZSO National Youth Orchestra and continues to take on major performance roles, including international engagements. This Grant supports her travel to the World Music Contest in the Netherlands, where she will represent New Zealand while building connections toward her goal of securing a place at a leading European conservatory.
