Nineteen-year-old Finlay Neale is one of the youngest players selected for the New Zealand U21 Men’s Team for the 2025 Junior World Cup in India. He captained both St Bede’s 1st XI and Canterbury U18A, winning team MVP and Canterbury Youth Player of the Year two years in a row. Finlay is also a contracted Falcons PHL player and co-coaches St Bede’s 1st XI. This Grant supports his international competition costs. His long-term goal is to represent New Zealand at the senior level and earn an overseas playing contract.
