Kaia loves all sports including orienteering which she started as soon as she could walk. Competing since she was 10, Kaia holds many national and Australasian titles and at 14 was the youngest ever NZer at the Jnr Worlds. Now 18, she’s ranked 2nd NZ woman. This Grant helped Kaia to the Jnr World Orienteering Champs in Romania and also in Switzerland as the youngest NZ competitor. Her goal is to become NZ’s No. 1 female orienteer and in the world’s top 20.
