After 5 years of studying psychology at Canterbury University Kelsey is passionate about helping those in need. With mental illness such a crucial societal concern, there is a huge demand for psychological support, which Kelsey is training to contribute to. Winning many academic scholarships, Kelsey was also one of 6 NZ students selected for the National Youth Science Forum in Australia, 2015. This Grant will help Kelsey continue study in a prestigious academic programme towards registration as a clinical psychologist. Her ultimate goal is to support people at risk of violence to end the cycle of abuse and maintain healthy relationships.
