Aged 18, Amélie has been racing for just over 3 years, having given up competitive dancing to focus on taking her mountain biking to the top. In that short time she has achieved top results across Australasian and Oceania. Despite many key race events cancelled in the last two years due to Covid-19, Amélie has now been selected to race in the UCI World Cup Series XCO in Europe. This Grant will help Amélie achieve international experience towards her ultimate goals of the Olympics and Commonwealth Games and a professional racing career.
