Selected for the SXSW Music Conference & Festival in the US (one of the world’s largest), Ashy will perform as an unknown and could leave as the next big pop star. Having recently turned 24, Ashy started songwriting at 13 and recording in 2017, amassing over 2million streams across all platforms. She’s worked with leading pop producers whose clients include Selena Gomez, Ariana Grande, Ed Sheeran, Rita Ora, Keith Urban and others. Having written and performed with top NZ artists, her single 'Mirror' spent weeks on the Official NZ Music Chart, has had success in MTV Australasia, and her single ‘EGO’ is in Apple Music’s ‘The 100 Best Songs of 2020’. Extraordinary Ashy has determinedly self-managed her entire career to date. This Grant will help her perform at SXSW for what could be a massive turning point towards becoming an internationally renowned recording artist.
