Caitlyn is 24-year-old Master’s student in Media and Communications, whose research explores how using TikTok can influence neurodivergent individuals’ self-understanding. With a Bachelor of Arts and recognition from leading international academics, Caitlyn was accepted to present her dissertation at the prestigious Australian & Aotearoa New Zealand Communication Association (AANZCA) conference. She has also been a sustainability champion at the international communications conference, promoting eco-friendly initiatives in Christchurch. This grant will enable Caitlyn to share her work on an international stage, an opportunity critical for her research and academic growth. Caitlyn aspires to enhance her field with published research and aims to mentor young professionals in mindful media use, particularly supporting neurodivergent communities.
