Cam lives and breathes mountain biking, describes it as his “life, love and passion” and happens to be really, really, good at it! He has been mountain bike racing for 4 years. In that time he has been hugely successful including a first place at National Schools Cross Country Champs in 2019, U15 National and Oceania Champion and this year he won the U17 Emersons 3 Peaks Enduro to qualify for the Enduro World Series in Canada later this year. Inspired by the words of Barry Maister, Olympic Gold Medallist, past member of the International Olympic Committee and friend to Inspire Marlborough, Cam strives to be “a champion not a winner” which is affirmed by his determination and commitment to be the best he can be and always willing to help and support those around him. In the future Cam aspires to race at a global level in the Enduro World Series and Cross Country World Champs and to secure a professional contract racing for a team.
