Starting on piano aged 5, Christine then learnt cello aged 6 and now has a dream to be a cellist who travels the world to share meaningful music. At just 16, she is often the youngest achieving global competition wins, along with scholarships, exam success, and solo recitals at the Christchurch Town Hall. This Grant will enable Christine to play cello as a concerto soloist with the NZSO accompanying her. An important next step towards further study and competition across Europe.
