Jack Flynn
Medicine
From the age of 10 Claire has lived and breathed fencing. And from the age of 16 she has won or podiumed at every national/Oceanic event for both age group and open titles, and competed internationally. Now 22, Claire is the strongest female fencer to come out of NZ since 2004 (and one of the strongest in Oceania). This Grant will help her to the Commonwealth Fencing Champs in England. While focused on building her international world rankings, Claire is equally passionate about continuing to support and encourage other women fencers in NZ.
