Having learnt to live with a communication disorder 21-year-old Eloise is passionate about helping others. She is a multi-scholarship awardee, accomplished musician, and volunteers at Burwood Hospital by taking exercise classes for Arthritis sufferers. Driven to improve the field of speech and language therapy, Eloise will use her Grant to take up a placement at a UK hospital specialising in stroke and brain injury rehab to benefit NZ through research towards a PhD in brain injuries and disorders.
