Jack Flynn
Medicine
As a child, Fynn was captivated watching his father play local league football in the weekends. Age 5 he signed up with the Rangers AFC First Kicks team and his love for the sport has grown ever since. In 2021 Fynn captained the Rangers AFC youth team winning the league title and the Ben Sigmund Knockout Cup and was named Marlborough Youth Player of the year for the second time. In 2022 and 2023 Fynn captained the MBC First XI, was selected for the Tasman U17
National Youth league team and played for the Rangers RFC First XI in the Nelson Men’s Premier League where they won both the league and cup trophy. Being a member of the Tasman U17 team means Fynn must travel twice weekly to Nelson for trainings and around the South Island for games. His Inspire grant will contribute towards the cost of travel to enable him to pursue his football at the highest level he can.
