Georgia started Snare Drumming at 6, won her first solo competition at 8, and by 17 is believed to be the only NZer to have won a national title in all NZ grades. Georgia is also only the 2nd ever female to be the Leading Drum Sergeant for St Andrews College A Pipe Band. Now 18, she’s been selected for the NZ Youth Pipe Band with this Grant helping her compete at the World Pipe Band Champs in Scotland. Her ultimate goals are to be the Solo World Champ, a Leading Drummer in a Grade 1 World Winning band, and pass on her knowledge to inspire the next generation of drummers.
