Georgia is a Speech & Drama teacher and at 20 has worked with the NZ Speech Board as both teacher and student. As well as multiple awards/scholarships, Georgia has 4 Diplomas: Teaching, & Advanced Teaching (Speech & Drama), Advanced Teaching (Public Speaking), and Performance. She’s now studying for a Professional Speaking Diploma while also studying for both a BA and Law degree at Canterbury Uni. This Grant will help Georgia attend the Shakespeare Globe Centre NZ Teachers professional development course in London to further develop her methods of teaching Shakespeare to inspire passion, excitement and confidence in young people nationwide.
