Jayna came into Highland Dancing at the relatively old age of 11 and set herself a huge challenge to catch up to dancers who had been dancing for years. Through her dedication, commitment and passion for dance she has achieved huge success as a dancer. Jayna was accepted into the internationally acclaimed NZ Highland Dance Company in 2017 when she was 16 years of age. Jayna has consistently been ranked in the top 10 dancers nationally and has completed her highland dance exams with Honours in all grades, a difficult and rare accomplishment. Jayna has already attended 3 international tattoos performing with the NZ Highland Dance Company and in April this year she will be dancing at the Virginia International Tattoo in the USA.
