Orienteering since primary school, Katherine has exceptional NZ national and regional wins and titles – both solo and in teams. While continuing to build on her global ranking, at 18 Katherine is equally focused on inspiring others and spends many hours coaching football, orienteering and junior PE. This Grant helped her compete in Bulgaria and Romania for the Jnr Orienteering Worlds. Her goal is to be in the 2026 NZ World Universities Orienteering Champ Team, and NZ World Orienteering Champs Team.
