Having completed his Masters Degree at Canterbury Uni, Matthew has also played in the NZSO and Youth Orchestra as well as the CSO. An active teacher and conductor, he has been playing professionally from age 19. Now 23, this Grant will help Matthew attend the Australian Flute Festival. This is the largest in the southern hemisphere and a valuable part of preparing to audition for Doctoral study in the US.
