Mikayla has competitively danced for 10 years while also teaching. Now 21, Mikayla and her crew "Reality" have performed nationwide including at high schools to lift mental health awareness. Currently also completing a Psychology Degree, Mikayla aims to combine study and dance to support vulnerable youth to be the best version of themselves. This Grant will help Mikayla represent NZ at the Hip Hop International World Champs in USA, and also bring back new ideas for her community youth work on her journey to become an international dancer/dance teacher.
