Jack Flynn
Medicine
A biomedical science degree led 23 year old Molly to an interest in cancer research – particularly uterine cancer. Her honours project on non-surgical cancer treatment options expedited entry to a PhD. Molly says Aotearoa has one of the fastest rising incidence rates of Endometrial Cancer (EC), yet it is underfunded, under researched and lacks community awareness, which she aims to improve through her PhD. This Grant will enable Molly to attend a scientific conference to further build important global connections towards her passion for women’s health, while also leading and mentoring others entering the field.
