2018 was a stellar year for Saxon who placed 10th in U19 World Champs, 1st in NZ, and was the 5th fastest 18yr old in the world. That followed winning all 3 Canterbury Schools Cross-Country, Road Race and Triathlon Champs. Now 19 Saxon has this year placed 4th in U19 Oceania and 3rd in French National Champs U19. Balancing training/competing with University study, this Grant will help Saxon represent NZ in the Elite Junior U19 World Tri Champs in Switzerland with an eye on future World, Commonwealth and Olympics Games.
