Tom is one of those people that at a young age has found the thing that he is passionate about and incredibly talented at. Tom started ballet and contemporary dance relatively late in life at 10 years old and has never looked back since. Over the last few years he has the distinction of being chosen to study as an Associate with the NZ School of Dance, a major achievement as not many are offered this position. Tom has competed in National level competitions including AHA, a bi-annual dance competition showcasing the most promising young dancers in Australasia. His local teacher says that Tom has “the x-factor” and describes him as an” awe-inspiring person with a gift, focused and driven, polite, humble, helpful, an outstanding communicator and kind to all ages”. Tom is also passing his skills and knowledge on as a Senior Contemporary Teacher at Dance on Grove. His long-term goal is to be a professional contemporary dancer.
