William had his first go kart ride at 6 years old and ever since he has been putting all his effort and weekends into being the best he can and to live his dream of being a professional racer! He has won back-to-back National Junior Championships and has been selected to represent New Zealand/Australia at the Rotax World Grand Finals in Portugal at the end of the year. In January 2023 William will be competing at the Toyota 86 Endurance Series Championships with the goal to win as a rookie. Ultimately he wants to be living overseas as a professional racing car driver. Not only is William one of NZ’s top drivers but he also spends countless hours helping others in the sport.
