After rowing all through secondary school, winning the Maadi Cup was the springboard for 22 year old Zack into the next level. This included the U18 NZ team competing at the 2018 World Champs, a U20 National Champs win and Trans-Tasman competition. Studying towards an Engineering Degree while recovering from surgery to remove his left kidney made him more determined, and saw him take 3 titles from the 2022 National Rowing Champs. This Grant will help Zack to the U23 World Champs in Italy.
