Born and raised in Marlborough, I’m a Year 13 student at Marlborough Boys’ College, completing Level 3 NCEA with merit and planning to study Commerce at Canterbury University next year, majoring in Management and minoring in Sport Studies. I live at home with my parents, both police officers, and my two siblings.
I am passionate about sport, playing in the 1st XI for both cricket and hockey at MBC, where I serve as vice-captain for both teams, and also enjoy social basketball and golf. I have represented Marlborough in hockey since age 10 and recently played for the Tasman U18 team at the 2024 tournament. I’ve been named MVP of the 1st XI hockey team for the past two years, Most Improved Player in 2022, and Most Valuable U21 Player for Marlborough Hockey in 2025. In cricket, I have represented Marlborough since I was 10.
Outside of school, I’ve gained work experience in hospitality and vineyard development, balancing part-time work with sporting commitments. Over the next year, I aim to continue my studies while competing in cricket and hockey at higher levels, with hopes of playing senior-level sport while at university. In the next five years, I plan to complete my degree and pursue a career in sports management and marketing, while continuing to play hockey competitively in Christchurch and representing Marlborough and Tasman where possible.
